‘BLOCKPARTY IS LOVE FOUNDATION’, launched in 2022, is BlockParty’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at giving back to host communities.
We take our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) seriously and aim to impact the host communities while promoting sustainability and inclusivity.
The foundation’s first initiative in 2022 offered a $1,000 education grant to support university students with tuition, accommodation, and textbooks, announced during the February Edition of Mainland BlockParty.
‘BLOCKPARTY IS LOVE FOUNDATION’ received over 500 applications and granted funds to 8 beneficiaries. The first batch of awardees includes Oluwafeyishayo Ajayi, Busola Alamu, Ibukun Spaine, Ezechi Favour Onyekachi, and Adekola Oluwatofunmi, all of whom are students at Lagos State University.
The foundation’s pillars are environmental sustainability, inclusivity, accessibility, local sourcing, community engagement, and education & awareness
